According to National Rail it takes 27 minutes to walk between the two. If you have little or no luggage & can walk a bit faster than snail's pace you might find yourself doing it in 20 minutes.

My advice is to get a taxi or walk fast, & find out in advance which platform you need at Snow Hill so you know where to go without having to sort it all out when you get there.

I did that change a year ago or so and I don't remember it being that far of a walk to be honest. I think 27 minutes is an over-estimation! More like 10 minutes I'd say...it's not that far.

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&saddr=birmingham+new+street&daddr=Birmingham+snow+hill+station,+Birmingham,+United+Kingdom&sll=52.480088,-1.897802&sspn=0.010938,0.02326&ie=UTF8&ll=52.480644,-1.900109&spn=0.005469,0.01163&z=17&om=1

Edit: Sorry ignore my advice. After looking at the map I realise I was thinking about Moor St. station not Snow Hill.

Lol there's no way it's a 27 minute walk... I used to live in B'ham... it's a few minutes! If you go to www.multimap.com you can use their route planner & select "walking" & it'll tell you... The postcodes of the stations are B2 4QA & B3 2BJ :)

No problem :) It might be handy if you print the walking directions on the multimap site so you know where you're going

10 minute walk. Walk through the pallasades shopping centre from the train station, through the bullring, and out for quickest route. Once you're out, just ask for directions, but you are more or less there.

You'll even pass a Baggette du Monde :) and have enough time for snackies :)

Well i'm a fairly quick walker so should make it ok, as long as my train isn't late coming in.;-)
