I was going to buy the ASDA 10 ft trampoline an enclosure but have found this on the net. The enclosure goes right round the outside and it also comes in green (which I like!)...do you think the quality will be any better than the Asda one? It's 30 quid more. Thoughts please?

the nets that are like this are far better then the other ones, the inside nets are crap, everyone i have seen looks crap, but two friends have nets like these and are still immaculate looking

That looks a good one - I bought the Tesco 8ft one for £75 which was on here a while back and its good. Its only for my 4 and 2 year old so having the inside net is better for them I think. That net looks a lot better being on the outside though so I'd go for it if you can afford it!

so youve checked the manufacturer and the retailer that they are reputable and not here today gone tomorrow if you have a problem?

id still be tempted to but from a more reputable retailer tbh, especially with kids stuff

Rebo trampolines seem to be sold on a few sites and have their own site too.

From personal experience the inside nets are safer. My son's had his for 6 years now and its still like new, his friend had one with the outside net and broke his foot because he jumped on the springs. That trampoline has been got rid of and replaced with one with an inside net which does not allow them anywhere near the springs.

my kids where on there trampoline on saturday evening when my youngest girl was bouncing and fell on the bars around the base where the springs go in, and there was a net on it, anyway ended up in hospital as she smashed all her mouth open, lost a tooth and there was blood everywhere, her mouth is still very very swallen, i would not get one at all , i have taken mine down and put a knife through it.

I had a 12ft trampoline a few years ago pre enclosures and more expensive! My eldest 2 children (and all their mates) used it with no major accidents. I Freecycled it because it wasn't getting used but now my 12 year old wants one so decisions to be made!

Got the green trampoline with the net outside. Its up and seems like a decent one.

OMG thats awful.

We have had our trampoline up for few years now and thankfully no accidents - even when its just been us adults on it all full of the sherry late on a Friday

I dont think getting rid of it was best thing to do though - as probably all her wee friends have a trampoline and you dont want her getting a fear of using them. Fall off a horse - get back on it.

Hope she is feeling better now
