Transfer your Xbox 360 licenses to 1 console

I can't see this having been posted before. I tried this yesterday and it is a great tool! I have had about 4 Xboxes in the past (I usually take them back for an exchange at the store, saves time) and can confirm that all my arcade games now work offline as well as online! More info below.

Got a new Xbox 360®? Great. But maybe you downloaded games or other content from Xbox LIVE® Marketplace onto an older Xbox 360, and now you want all that content on your new system. Well, now there's a way to do it.

With the license transfer tool, you can easily transfer the licenses of all your previously downloaded content from your old console to the new one.

Follow the instructions here: http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/support/drm/

I did it too. It's good but a massive pain in the backside if you've got a lot to re-download. I had 248 things to download including big map expansion packs etc and the biggest pain is that you can only have 6 things in your download queue at one time! I gave up in the end.

Lol, I know what you mean!
I just downloaded the arcade games and a few gamerpics/themes, not expansion packs as they will be used online:thumbsup:

On a positive side though, if you have had a banned Xbox 360 / still do, you can transfer the licenses over and also play on the banned xbox offline (if you still have it)

Thanks for this, I didn't realise this was now possible.

It was only released yesterday, although has been mentioned over the past month or two in gaming news, but not much.
