I transferred files back onto my brothers PS3 when he got a replacement. He had about 50GB of stuff on there, which I had to transfer 8GB at a time, but didn't find any other way that is any easier.

I hope someone can help you, as it's a pain. I was hoping that you could download it directly to a PC, and then upload it back again.

Are you streaming or copying your files over.

I got Tversity running (had it ages)but it fails when I try to transfer files 'n folders.

Just says 'error' etc etc.

Struggling to play any vids too. Music works a treat tho.

I have managed to transfer my Videos no problem, but through Tversity i havent been able to copy the audio just stream it, the copy button isnt highlighted so for some reason can copy the music over.

Edited to say: I have now managed to transfer the music over as its doing atm, not sure whats up with yours

Yeah it's working now, I prob forgot I was streaming some music in the background already before I tried to add copying to the processes lol. Vids and music are streaming ok - and copying too.

The problem is more with compatibility issues and making sure your folder structures are spot on.

Tversity is just awesome - especially for a free app.

You can use media player 11. Easier than downloading more software.

Nope. If your ps3 can pick up your computer and play stuff from it then you can copy files to it. If you havent used wmp11 before then the only settings you would have to change is the folders you want to be shared and giving permission to the ps3.
