insure and go are very good, but get the gold cover as that has zero excess and better benefits.

try one of the comparison sites, as companies suggested on here may provide a different quote as per your circumstnaces.

i always find if you try moneysupermarket.com or something similar then see if any of the lowest quotes offer quidco.

I've always found Travel Insurance Web very reasonable (15% Quidco)

Tried the moneysupermarket, but all the one's I've tried have limits on them (i.e 30 day trip limit etc), just wondered if anyone could recommend any from personal experience ?

Travel Insurance Web seems to only have a Max days abroad - 60 days by the looks of things.

Be careful if you go to Moneysupermarket 1st and then use Quidco as a friend queried why his transaction hadn't tracked and Quidco said it was because the merchant had received his details from Travelsupermarket.Could just be an excuse from Quidco so you don't use moneysupermarket

Try Direct Travel - they come out well in the Which? magazine survery of travel insurance companies (unfortunately you can read the review at their website unless you sign up for their £1 trial). Good coverage limits esp for USA medical. We've used them for several years for annual worldwide inc. ski. Never had to claim so can't comment on how good they are when that happens. No connection other than as a happy customer.
To keep the cost down and avoid paying twice for the same cover, we normally delete the personal money and belongings insurance as they're covered by our household insurance.

Read the fine print with Insure and Go ! - they don't cover valuables lost from your checked-in luggage etc....lots they don't cover.
