Going away next week so need to order me moneys!

Going to Jamaica, I think it is US Dollars I need?

Just wondered if anyone can recommend somewhere good to try for a good exchange rate/low commission - not familiar with how it works at all!

Will leave rep for help, thanks!

Well Post Office do it commission free, i've never had a problem with them.

Then again they don't do the best exchange rates i think. If you're looking for good exchange rate maybe try M&S? I believe they'll offer the best exchange rate.

If you have a switch/maestro debit card use www.travelex.co.uk

I use Post office for dollars/euros- they give special rates on high exchanges usually so are pretty good

Link HERE
You can order online for home delivery or Post office collection :)

Weve just had an exchange booth open up in our tesco - the exchange rate about 4 weeks ago for euros was better than M and s which is where i would normally recommend

How do I order from these, please?

Probably too late now, but next time open Nationwide bank account and use your Visa cashcard to withdraw foreign cash from Visa cash machines at latest exchange rate with no charges..........

I just go into a large Marks and Spencers and do it there.

My nearest M&S doesn't have a bureau and not worth the journey to the nearest one that has.

Exchange rate they stated on their website today was 1.941, whilst the Post Office was 1.943 so maybe should just go with them?

Right well think I will go with the Post Office.

Does anyone know how long they take to get the money in if I order in branch?

Would like it by Friday really, can I get it in time?

Tesco usually have about the best rates online and they deliver free if over 500

If you withdraw cash from a credit card you will be charged interest immediately. I don't know if you can also get a visa debit card from Nationwide though - is that what you meant?

Thanks everybody - went to the post office today and they had the cash ready for me to take straight away so all sorted.

Will leave rep when I get a few minutes spare
