Strange question, but my boyfriend has lost his passport... Can he travel (flying) to Ireland (whether it's North or South) using photo ID? You used to be able to but I'm not sure if the rules have changed now! He has a driving license and warrant card... Would that be enough or have they tightened up on passports? Thanks!

Obviously you will always need a passport for southern Ireland or Eire - this is another Europan country - no matter what airline you use - Northern Ireland may be different if you're lucky
