http://www.collateralmurder.com/

Absolutely disgusting. Makes me sick to see stuff like this from these so called "heroes".

As ex-army, in the 70s, we always said we would rather fight the Americans than fight with them. They invented the phrase 'friendly fire' and practice it regularly.

King of the Hill just had one of the characters saying 'Hey, we tried that looking before you shoot, it works!'
#3
So much for the Heroes, looks like the site has been taken Down..I wonder why the likes of the CNN and BBC are not showing that....hmmmm or maybe we ll read the story in the Sun or News of the World...No?...Hmmmm I just cant seem to put my finger on why.....
#4
Cant follow the link. But see the problem not the uniform or suchlike.
There are incidences of trigger happy events all over the world.
No guns and it would be a bit difficult to achieve same result

Youtube link to the video (watching it currently)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rXPrfnU3G0&feature=player_embedded

Serious AC-130 skills. Definitely unprovoked - If I had watched it from the start I'd have seen the guys had cameras and not AKs.

LOL very trigger happy. Where the guy is crawling along (approx 8.40 in vid) the gunner is practically hoping for him to pick up a weapon to shoot again.

Hmm when a van comes along to pick up the wounded (approx 9.30) gunner says "come on! Let us shoot!" (after asking for permission to engage). Hmm.

An interesting video to say the least. The first pack didn't seem to pose a threat, and they should have waited longer before considering engaging to confirm if it was indeed weaponry (as it turns out to be cameras...). However the second round on the van was un-necessary as they posed no threat and from what it appears were doing a good deed.

The lesson? If you see a man dying from gunshots in Iraq, get the hell out of there!

Well said
you have more chance of surviving if you are fighting the americans rather than fighting along side them as they cause to many injuries/deaths through so called friendly fire.
Remember seeing the footage of the British tank convoy and one tank clearly had a visible British flag but the American planes overhead fired upon the tanks.

Too many trigger happy and loopy Americans in their armed forces

its just like modern warfare 2...

Did we really expect anything different?

they chose to create a war and then attempt to engage an enemy that they cant see, so if they go on the lines of "shoot anything that moves" then at some point they will win the war even if those they murder are innocent civilians, allied troops or media reporters.

lets not forget that its all about the bigger picture, oil being at top of the agenda followed by global strategic positioning.

Can't believe what the **** those american murdering scumbags just done on that video. I just can't believe how they could just cold heartedly murder all those innocent people who had not one freaking gun, and killing guys who were only taking away a blown up guy.

What ****ing world is this?

What's even worse, is that this is only a tiny part of the murders they have done, a lot of it just little kids damn it.
#11
IMHO, this is no less barbaric than a suicide bomb, and the words of those perpetrating this atrocity show that they should never be trusted with anything more dangerous than a plastic spoon... Hopefully the next people they kill will be themselves, once the enormity of their shame is seen... Sadly, you have to be HUMAN to feel remorse.... :(

If you give a whole load of hyped up guys weapons attrocities can happen. Havent seen the link but did you all sleep through the slaughter in Rwanda and the Beslan seige.
Weapons and who supplies them must be seen as part of the problem.
Unfortunately there always have been and probably always will be some sick individuals who dont recognise normal societal boundaries but without weapons after effects would be smaller.
I sometimes wonder what HDUK would be like when it all kicks off if everyone here was issued with a weapon.

The people in question are trained soldiers.
Soldiers put there in order to ensure "Peace" is fulfilled.
So why are they murdering people if they say they are helping the country? They are doing the complete opposite.
I can't believe it's been almost a decade of massacre in Iraq and Afghanistan thanks to the Americans, hopefully the world will see this sick video and hopefully something will be done about it.

Some more news of another murder at the hands of western troops
http://afghanistan.blogs.cnn.com/2010/04/05/nato-admits-killing-afghan-civilians-in-february-raid/?hpt=T2

Five civillians (Three woman and two men) murdered by NATO troops and they even admitted it.

Just watched it and can see why they thought they were weapons, journalists on TV always have blue armour on with whatever written on their helmet to distinguish them, these journalists didn't.

edit: okay watched the 2nd half no need.

It doesn't matter about the armoured vests, without vests they are still civillians, just because they are arabic does not mean they should be blown up.
Nikon don't make machine guns, and the US, with their highly advanced surveillance technology should know the difference between an unarmed civillian, an unarmed civllian with a camera and a person carrying a gun.
No excuses for what they done, other than they are sick blood thirsty groups.

They had an RPG could of took down the chopper if they didn't shoot them!!!

not what I was saying, but it looked like they had something slung over their shoulders, then one was crouching on the corner of a building as if he had spotted the apache.

A camera yes. I don't think a camera is going to bring down a helicopter though.

The americans might have been angry about losing a friend.

If you walk the streets of a war zone you may be shot.

What's worse is that there are many hundreds of thousands of dead Iraqi and Afghan civillians.
So many that it would be too much to list on a website :-(

They were invaded, they can't stay in their houses 24/7, they need to get out, get food etc.

I know what is the solution?

We have been told countless times that the troops are leaving soon, just one month, just two months, in the spring, in the winter etc.
But they are still there and still murdering.
The solution is what they should have done in the first place, fly the murderers back to their US base, and stop destroying fragile countries.

Who has that power?
banned#35
Dark knight you forget, war equals money to A LOT of companies who have A LOT of influence in high places of government, here and in the US. Quite a few of the UK government contracts are given to American contractors who are all based on MoD property, corruption runs deep.

But some of them did have weapons,,, wikileaks even admits to it in the the written prologue??
#37

take that crap out this thread please, as already said we will never truly know the figures on the amount of innocent people and children killed in the confilct so lets not try to justify it but lets agree that the video we have all watched was disturbing and sickening.

Where are these dozen guys with AK-47s and RPGs? As all i see in the video are a bunch of unarmed guys with photographers.
Don't try to say what isn't there.
