My friend bought a computer but i dont know the spec and she was having trouble with it so asked me to have a look. I dont know a great deal but heres how it went.
She had the computer working fine for a week or two and then added a cordless keyboard and mouse. Then all that would happen is that it just went to the black screen saying that it didnt shut down correctly and whichever mode you choose to load it in, it just goes back to that screen so she couldnt get to the main windows desktop to alter it.
She rang the man at the shop who said that she should not have installed it using the cd and it should have "just worked" and was quite abrupt and not offering any other advise.
So when i went to look i rang the company and they said plug the wired one back in and it should work, but that didnt either.
Should this happen and surely you should be able to install a cd without this hassle.
Lastly, she could take it back but i had advise from another source to try rebooting from the xp disc and repair which the man on the phone told me was a very annoying thing to have done as i have made it far worse. Is that true????
