Hubby wanted to go to this, been numerous times over the years. But, the travel and accommodation prices seemed rather inflated this year! :-(

Its totally ridiculous, Its a total rip off which is a shame.

A lot of people who wanted to make it over didn't due to expense, Including competitors! (Well and a steam Racket cock up!)

As somebody who has only raced short circuit club races in England. I have to take my hat off to theses guys. The skill and courage they have is amazing. Top Speeds of 200 mph on a road circuit is insane.

It takes utter skill and probably a bit of madness to! (Did you see how close they come to concrete walls/Lamposts etc!)

It makes great racing and Practice has gone very well!!

Well the PS2 version is easy, If something was to go wrong, You get back on your bike and try again, Not quite that easy in the real world, Gotta get it right the first time!!

It's bad enough falling off on a track designed with plenty of run off. The thought of coming off with walls etc to hit doesn't bear thinking about.

Looking forward to seeing a 130mph lap this year.

I was trying to explain to my mate watching the program tonight that it was an average speed but I don't think he could see how it was possible.

I have managed to convince him that it will be worth a visit next year though which is a bonus.

You'd really need to book early though, Most book it as early as they can!!

Its 129 average!! (looking for the magic 130mph!)!

The race was canceled due to bad weather today, So I don't know whats going to be on ITV4, I'd imagine a repeat of preview, Don't know though.
#16
Bump, Race is on!! (Sorry for the late reply, Was watching fifth gear!)
#17
Don't know who's idea it was for the arse cam's, Stupid idea!!

The front mounted wind shield cams are better!!
#18
still all looks ace though!

EDIT: ok the ass cams dont look so good..."wow there's a guys rear and a few clouds"
#19
The arse cam's must be so people can actually see the sponsors logo's on the back of their jackets!!!, Its the only time you can!!

Would much rather see the wind shield/Tank mounted cam's though!!!!

Great racing!
