Turn Nectar Points Into Real Money

OK - first post so be kind!
Ill try and keep it simple.

Bought a PS3 the other day from sainsburys with Visa Debit card and nectar points.....
Found a better deal in Game.................
Took my PS3 back to sainsburys and they credited my debit card back for the full amount (including nectar points) as sainsburys do not credit nectar points back onto the nectar card.
So basically this is a way of transforming your nectar points into real money...............
I then could spend the nectar points cash value in Game.............

Fantastic for any big branded items - maybe not for your carrots and peas!

Enjoy!

What are nectar points actually worth? We've signed up recently and have used the card no end to gain points, but I have no idea what they are worth - is there a table/conversion chart somewhere?

It's not a scam..................it was an honest attempt at making people aware that this can be done..............if it wasn't in the right section i'll hold my hands up and happy for it to be moved to finance section............

between you me and the internets, I bought a netbook from tescos via quidco, when it arrived it was faulty, took it back and went online and ordered another one. When I got the other one, it wasn't the correct specification as advertised and took that back too. Quidco still tracked and I made £12

They could easily decide to just give a Sainsburys vouchers

I bought something from argos and had to pay £5 towards it on my card. The lady said that if I returned the item would get an Argos voucher back when I returned it I was lucky in that they refunded the full amount to my card.

Just visit Nectar.com for all info.
I just add points whenever I shop and forget about them. They may only be worth a bit but I've 'bought' a camera from Argos and gained free entry to Legoland with mine.
Just collect and forget - then treat yourself. The web site has all the info including your points total - once you've registered your Nectar Card number. Happy saving - and waiting!

OK the first time as you did not know, but to encourage people to buy things just to take them back for a credit of points used...................;-(
Remember items returned just for the sake of it, costs the stores money in time and possibly having to reduce the price to sell the returned item means someone has to pay in the future for these actions with increased prices.
