Tv aerial advise.

We need a new tv aerial due to next doors trees affecting the signal.

We therefore need the new aerial repositioning to the other side of the house so my question is this, would it be better having two aerials fitted one for the bedroom and one for the lounge on a mast,
or just one aerial with a masthead amplifier feeding the two room? what advantages/disadvantages would an amplified signal have over two independent aerials. Thanks in advance.

I'd invest in a chainsaw

we bought a satellite dish & receiver, cable etc from B & Q for less than £25. Bought a direction finder off Amazon, soon to install, then bye bye aerial.

I personaly would go for the 2 ariels, as then you at least stand some chance of getting a signal in one of the rooms.

2 ariels seems a bit daft (and expensive) surely 1 ariel in the right place with a booster so you can run both tvs would be fine you may be best just asking the guy that comes to instal it as they would know best. we have our ariel inside the roof and have6 tv points throughout the house running from it and get a fab picture on all of them.

Why don't you just come into the 21st century and get virgin or sky?
