twin cordless phones work with only 1 connection point

hi, i am thinking of buying a twin phone pack, such as this.

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5528532/Trail/searchtext%3ECORDLESS+PHONE.htm

we only have 1 connection (telephone socket) point in our house, so will they both work if only 1 is connected to a connection point?

thanks

in short, yes.

The base station plugs into the line and the plug socket.
The charging base merely plugs into the plug socket.

Only the main base is connected to the phone line anyway. The other will just have the power adapter so you only need a plug.

They are still best for a steady dial up connection.

The best, for a very very bad thing.
