Two Queries - Thoughts Please.
I would first like to start off by saying that my post comes early in the morning, and i've almost never had a problem, apart from a few niggles, but over the past couple of months, some items, (games, blu rays etc) have started to "get lost in the post" I have counted 14 Items that have gone missing since March,
But the sellers have been understanding and giving out refunds and replacements etc,
I bought that camera that was posted here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004G8Q5Z6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_5
when it was £124.99
I bought it on the 10th June, and it took about four days to be dispatched,
So i thought that due to it being a high value item, it might be delivered via courier,
but i waited and the days piled up, and now today, 11 days after it being dispatched has yet to appear, So im thinking that it might have been "lost in the post"
Would Amazon refund me or send a replacement ? im a little comprehensive due to the value that they would refund something like that,
Secondly,
I bought two copies of Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Editions for £19.99 each, on the 21st May, and these have mysteriously dissapeared aswell, and i've already tried to phone Game, but they keep putting me on hold, so i decided to email them, which they then replied, the usual, wait another couple of days (this was a month after it had been dispatched) so i did, but strangely they seemed to have dissapeared from my orders, on the website, like i had never bought them at all, although i still have the emails and order numbers, etc,
where do i stand with both of these ?

Someone seems to have caught on that you have some nice stuff delivered and kindly helps themselves to it. I think you need to find out what methods and companies are being used and investigate from there to track down who is doing it and where it is going missing.
I know that the RM have been known to do this, they operate a system where they send things back through the system after a none delivery and the items are then stolen.
All I can suggest is that you pay extra for special delivery or some form of trackable delivery which makes it harder for them to steal it.
Recorded signed for it's much use as most of the time they don't even bother getting a signature.
A similar thing happened to me but not as frequently. RM Items going missing, especially following a none delivery. Parcels that I sent, going missing and small items never received. I had to use a trackable service to stop it. That was at my previous address. I haven't had so many problems recently except for a none delivered item going missing when it got sent back through the RM system.

Amazon pretty much use royalmail for everything and items like cameras are now small enough to be delivered by your standard postie... everytime a claim is made with royalmail they log it and build a case for your area, my guess is you're not alone and your postie is identifing items of value and stealing them. Watch this space for your new postie, coming soon!
As for the claims, keep on at the companies, you do have to wait 20+ days before they will deal with anything as "lost"
I'll report back when i have more info.
Hi mate, i went in today and gave them a piece of my mind, and spoke to the supervisor of the branch, he said he would "look into it"
which basically means he likely won't do anything
