Oh mine does that some times, usually when i type too fast.

If you go slower it should be ok, just type slower :)

You may think you type fast, when really it's quite fast :)

you shouldn't be able to out type the speed at which the PC can process what your typing, something is seriously wrong, virus, spyware etc

Definetly a good idea to do a good virus / malmare check.
However I had a similar problem with my Dell, I was getting a paragraph ahead of it!
It took loads of Googling before I found the suggestion to use my laptop without the battery in!
I knew my battery was barely keeping a charge but it was also delaying my typing!

I had this problem a couple of weeks ago and found an av forum where someone said it was probably battery related (which I hadn't thought would affect typing speed).
Sure enough after I had disabled the 'compatible battery' icon on the control panel and just left the power adaptor in, the problem went. A new battery may be the answer.

Try some of these programs, all are free, never pay extra for pro versions etc.

Malwarebytes (Update and run quick scan)
Adaware Free
Spybot search and destroy

Or try another browser like Mozilla Firefox :
