This is why women cannot be trusted alone.

When the missus is at home, she insists on keeping a key in the front door, not her key or mine, but the spare key! So when shes come out of the house today and shut the door, she's left the spare key in the door so now we cant get in!!

And she insists on doing same thing with the back door so cant even go in that way.

Anyone got a spare bed??

one of them stupid doors that you cant open from outside without a key.
[mod]#18
It's going to have to be a locksmith job but you can claim on your insurance. :)
#19
so...i have 2 doors...both with keys in them from inside...back door is locked, front door is just closed but because of the type of door/lock it is, we cant open from outside!

Yeah I know my bad on both counts *in before that would of invalidated your house insurance* luckily for me I was incompentent on 2 counts

Jump your fence!! Lucky you.

Hi, have just registered to tell you this, my father-in-law did the same thing, all you need is a coat hanger, put it through the letterbox and pull handle down.

This is how burglers get in, you should always lock the door when you go out, 2 friends have been burgled this way, once while they were asleep in bed!!!

cant you just drill a yale lock? assuming your neighbour has a drill handy? saves a locksmith callout charge.

This is what i was planning to do...but handle's quite stiff so might have problems pulling it down...any coat hanger you'd recommend?

Was also thinkin of doing same thing but pulling key out of door, that way can unlock from outside.

Mods...do i any kind of recognition for getting a new member to join up? :whistling:
