Nintendo needs to get their prices sorted out or they will alienate their customer base before the switch even gets off the ground!

Ultra Street Fighter 2 £34.99!
What a ridiculous price for a port of the Xbox 360 / PlayStation 3 version of Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix, which came out in 2008!

£19.99 to £24.99 is a fare price for this imo.

Vote with your wallets, or do like I am doing and email or reach out on social media to Nintendo and Capcom, to let them know of your disgust at these rip off prices!

I'd imagine he's starting to worry as this has been the case with all cross platform releases for the switch so far, its getting pretty ridiculous and will really start to damage the switches chances of success if it continues.
There is no excuse for it except pure greed from trying to make extra cash out of people struggling to find games to play on their new device!
They really need to sort it but as OP said, best thing to do is talk with your wallet.

Just dont buy them OP..

I had a few titles on my list and ive cancelled them all on Switch except for Mario Kart and i feel £40.00 value is justifed with that title.

My Switch will be a 1st party title console. any 3rd party cross platform games will be better served on XB1 or PS4.

People may moan about the fact i spent £300 on a console for Zelda, Mario Kart DX and Mario Odyssey.

I am sure by the end of the Switches life i will have a healthy library of must have 1st party titles 90% of which will have great replayability, and far more than must haves for other consoles.

So my advice do not buy these remasters or cross platform titles at inflated prices, eith er buy on other platforms or wait out the inevitable huge price drops.

£32.99 from gameseek plus possible £1 cashback doesn't seem too bad to me

Or £34.99 with a t-shirt or A2 poster from Nintendo Store plus possible £2 cashback

Why does everyone cry about prices all the time? Buy it or don't buy it, why moan on every occasion?

As said by haritori buy them on other consoles if you're that concerned or wait until the price drops...

I agree.

Holding off on this one until it's <£20
Mario Kart & Zelda will have to do until I get a chance to play an Arms demo.

It's the prices of carts that's killing good prices. You'd think Nintnedo would offer to subside in some way to help the publishers and devs.

I'm also someone who will use the Switch for 1st party and exclusive stuff. Multi platform I'll get on the PS4.

If you're savvy you don't have to pay full price. All the games and accessories I've bought so far have been via discounts and/or vouchers. I won't be able to do it forever but doing pretty well so far, next week I'll get MK8 digitally for £25 8)

That's exactly how I'm thinking. I'll get my moneys worth in 1st parties just as I did the WiiU.
Even Mario Kart seems over priced to me as I own it on WiiU with all the DLC, I'm basically getting a few extra characters and battle mode for £40. I hate to pay it but having finished with Zelda I almost feel like I have to to justify my purchase of the Switch! I'm hoping I'll be able to hold off till I can get it cheap but other than this the next game I have interest in is ARMS in June and with an extra set of joycons that's going to cost me a fortune! I initially wanted to just buy another switch for AMRS since it works out pennies if your buying another set of joycons and a dock anyway but with the little use I see my first one getting I just can't justify it.

If you've finished with Zelda then I'm 100% certain that it's had extremely high use...

Ha I'm not one to go for 100% completion! finding the remaining seeds and shrines just seems tedious to me, especially since I only get around 5-10 hours a week to game, once I start to feel i'm just doing something because I should I usually look for a new experience instead. I've had about 60-70 hours in it and its enough for me. Don't get me wrong that's a fair bit of usage and I'll probably pop back in future, particularly once the DLC arrives (do we have any idea when that is btw?) but until then I'm essential 'Done' and I don't see it getting any more usage for the next couple of months besides maybe and hour or so to finish off snipperclips.

I finally cashed in my Game virtual shares and got £25 of reward points. So will use that to get it down to £25. I feel dirty using game, but for a digital copy of MK8 I'm willing to sell my morals :D

this game should be a tenner, £15 maximum. its absolutely extortionate.

I own a Switch, love it but yes, this price takes the ****. Loving playing Dragon's Trap on the go though and can't wait for MK8.

I'm sorry, but what does Nintendo have to do with the price of a Capcom game?
