If you talk to the uni admissions they may still be able to take you on. However your application for student finance support (contact local authority) will be late but still can be processed at this time.

not sure when clearing finishes.... contact the uni directly as i think you can possibly apply with them rather than going via ucas

nah you can still apply AFAIK, if you want to stay in halls, hmm that you might have a problem unless someone drops out

Think carefully before rushing into it. Think about your reasons for not going in the first place - are they still valid?
There are some practical problems you need to think about too - like accommodation, finances etc not just spaces on the course......

A great point. Freshers week is all about having fun, settling in, and helping young students adjust to their (probably) first time away from home.
You need to think about the reality of student life, too ... (probably) juggling a job to pay the bills, stress of exams, evening classes etc etc.

Having said that, you'll never be as 'free' as you are now to study. Once you get a job, you'll start enjoying the salary, you may rent a place, get a car etc etc. Giving that all up to study is a very hard thing to do .... so if you THINK you might want to study more (and that's what being a student is about!), then my advice is do it now.

Good luck
