checked the site after the phone call and guess what nothing they want you to have the £35 but dont want to tell you about it and if you have tree children in primary school thats £105 which is a great help

Got a letter home from my sons school today informing us of this grant so must include Northern Ireland.

glasgow has always had this,I think its about £50,remember my mil getting this over 10 yrs ago

I think London has always had this too but its restricted to children in year 6 ( going into senior school ) and children in year 2 and reception... something like that. And I think you have to apply in the summer term before the changes are to be made. Additionally I think they give uniform vouchers rather than cash. But definitely worthwhile phoning up to find out.

they have never had it in leicester which is unfair. Clothing all six costs a lot too.
And when they go high school the green (yuk) blazer is 40 quid each

we have green blazers too. It's that nice dark forest green though. My daughter's friend has to wear this NEON green blazer. Can imagine she has nightmares about that lol
