Cos one is in Manchester, one used to be and now resides in Trafford, a town with an MBC all of it's own.

Bit like when Wimbledon left and had to become MK Dons, Trafford United should be the name and you all know it.

The geography and all means technically, pedantically they do not both play in Manchester, only City do
#13
It's the same in Nottingham, With Notts county and Nottingham Forest.

Notts County [ Nottinghamshire County FC] Their ground resides in the City of Nottingham.

Nottingham Forest FC's ground resides across the river which is effectively Nottinghamshire.
So both grounds are techincally in the wrong place, or the teams should be

Nottingham County FC
Nottinghamshire Forest FC

I'm a huge Arsenal fan, so Man Utd isn't my favourite team in the world but you have to admire what they've done for english football throughout there time and the style of football they offer.

No disrespect to Man City but you have to bare in mind that their 2 biggest superstars by far were missing in Rooney and Ronaldo and any team in the world missing those type of players would have a bit of trouble getting results.

Man Utd will come back and i'd definitely prefere Man Utd to win the league ahead of Chelsea, who used to be my second team before Ibrahmovic came over and Tottenham who i don't mind there fans and do enjoy the rivalry but i really do love how they always have such high expectations at the start of every season but then never meet there deluded goals.

I said there would be a lot of shocks this season because all the smaller teams have strengthened, so this will be the closest season in a very long time and more entertaining than ever. :)

Couldn't agree more. All the small teams in the league have made quality signings, prime example city. This has made the premier league stronger that it has ever been.

I would prefer arsenal to win the league over chelsea because chelsea are just throwing millions upon millions of money at it making it a joke. People arn't realising this because they are smoke screened by the "hate united" that has entered in the last 15 years. No matter what happens, every season teams raise their game in matches against united because we are the team to beat.

So you been to many games then sematic?
#24
so your telling me a team is a made out of 2 starts have a laugh rooney and ronaldo are not there so what a team should have a back up. whats that supposed to mean oh they dont have 2 players they didnt do well.

everyone hates chelsea but i reckon they will win the league this season.

Was in the north stand tier 2 since it was built, then transferred down to current seats this season. So thats what since 1994? somewhere around then til now.

I am not a great away supporter as funds sometime do get a bit low but i went to the san siro last season to watch a terrific milan beat us 3-0.
#28
well ive been to nearly every away and every home game for bcfc ive had my season ticket 17 years now. wow its been a long time
#29
Well done. It is a bit easier though for you to go to aways as the tickets are slightly cheaper and your season ticket was cheaper.

Of course it's not just based on 2 stars but despite the clubs squad depth, you can never have the same impact with the replacements.
We all saw what happened at Arsenal last season when we were missing Gallas, Henry and Van Persie for large portions of the season and despite being quite effective, we definitely weren't the same team.

To be honest, how would Reading perform without 2 of your superstars such as......... errrr...... without.........just playing, without Leroy Lita and someone else as effective, even though Lita is no Rooney or Ronaldo, it changes the performance and any other player you choose to use as cover won't be able to perform at the same level consistantly throughout duration of a number of games.

Players like Rooney and Ronaldo terrifies every defence in the world and any manager worth his salt will tell players to watch out for these 2 more than any other player at Man Utd, even if they don't score or even assist a goal, they'll draw players out of position, thusly creating space.

Well, he's the biggest star in the Reading squad, so i mentioned him but i know what you're saying because Reading isn't about superstars in the same way as Arsenal, Chelsea Man Utd and Liverpool but they're about togetherness and working hard as a whole.

Reading won't be in europe next season in my opinion but they'll be challenging for a place and will cause a few upsets along the way because they're one of the hardest working teams in the league and despite there lack of superstars, they're an attractive team to watch and earned a lot of fans and respect last season. :)

Reading did play very well as a team last season. Some of their counterattacking moves were really good and surprising from a newly promoted side

a long way to go yet. arsenal and man utd play the most entertaining football and surely thats what football is all about... ENTERTAINMENT
