Hey guys,

I have just started my A2 levels and am applying to UCAS for my courses, i'm looking at taking sport and fitness management or something simular - nothing too sciency though!

Anyway, im keen on chichester, winchester and bournemouth, i'm not the smartest and chichester requires CDD for my course which I know i can get.

Thing is, why is it a low entry rate when Bournemouth is ABB? Is it a worse uni? What's the night life like at Chichester? pubs ? clubs etc ? Accomadation ?

Any help would be great, i have looked on internet and perspectus but would like info from you guys who may have studied there, thanks!

Unis can be lower in the charts in general but can be exceptional at some subjects, ie dundee is not particularly high in the overall rankings but has one of the best medical schools in britain

Yeah Chichester is a specialist sport Uni and most of the students are sport students.

All i can say is chichester has one club and you have to get a bus to it! having grown up round there its not the greatest but can be a good laugh with your mates but its not like liquid or other big clubs. lovely city tho.

Ok, also anyone know roughly how long it would take to get to Chichester from around Reading/berkshire area?

Lower entry requirements mean that the demand for that uni is lower.
It might mean that its not a good uni, but more likely it means that it is not attractive to prospective students for some other reason, such as where it is or lack of nightlife etc.
On your UCAS application it is a good idea to pick some universities with high entry requirements and some with lower ones, then hold one from each as your first and second choices. You might surprise yourself and do really well, and then you will kick yourself for not applying to Bournemouth if that is where you really want to go.
