enter...
#7465625*638*00000000#

and then enter *#7465625# a menu should come up, check that they show all locks are inactive.

then try a different sim card in it...this is a temporary unlock
Found these codes also: stated that these unlock samsung mobiles havent personally tested

removed wrong codes

you cant do much now. if you type *#06# and look at your imei it will be 15 0's

so you have a barred phone that wont work anywhere in the world now.

unlocking via a clip is much safer
#4
oh **** ur right :( !!!

so the clips is the only option ?

the phone is only good for spares now.

next time unlock a samsung by a clip, it only takes a couple of seconds. you can resell the clip to get your money back
#6
or you can google winimei d900...which will recover your imei...
#7
can u give me more on this, i am downloading it now. how does it work?
#8
ALTERING WITH A FONES IMEI IS ILLEGAL!!

(sorry for the caps)
#9

#13
but the guy did it accidently, so wasnt his fault really, even though you phone O2 up or something they aint gonna change it back so why not try to fix it yourself..
#14
You cant unlock a e250 yet !!!!. Only can be done by the network

altering an imei is an illegal offence and holds a prison sentence so even if someone was able to tell you how to do it  i wouldnt advice it

#21

@Jaguark, how is this thread even remotely funny?
You've posted several times in the thread, with "lol's"
You told the OP what codes to enter. Did you know it would destroy their phone?
I think you've been less than helpful tbh
#23
i know i have already apologised as i didnt know what the codes would do. But am trying to help him fix it...

Just quickly checked the thread; i cannot see any public apology.
Why did you post the codes, if you did not know what they did? Why did you bother? Unreal

I think you should go half with the OP on any repairs. I cannot believe you posted the codes without checking what they would do.:x
*Bring back the neg rep.*

I agree, I cannot believe this thread. The OP must be mad as hell, I know I would be.
#27
i would be so mad if i was the op. the phone is useless now isnt it?
#28
i've been to several shops today, and they have all said tht the phone is as useful in calling as a brick ! :( . it was two weeks old as well. has any1 had ne experience with returning phones to littlewoods? how can i explain what happened neway !!!
banned#29
Hi hamadam, im so sorry for what has happened to your phone, have you registered and asked over on www.moneysavingexpert.com they have lots of people over there who know about these things, although i think you will find the only thing you can do is put it down to experience
#30
i think i know someone who may be able to fix the imei...i will see him on saturday or sunday, i will ask him....

I pm'ed him saying i was sorry as soon as i found out what happened to my phone....i removed the codes aswell so no one else uses em...

I googled the unlock codes for samsung...in some forum it had the codes mentioned...it also said with it unlock samsung mobile code...so thats why i put them here...i tried it myself and got my mobile blocked....If i fix my mobile i will be more than happy in fixing his for no cost at all....

Well its true i do deserve the neg rep cause i was a dumb@$$ who never checked around before posting. I dont give a donkey's pudding about rep as much as am concerned about fixing his mobile.

I dont mind getting banned either as long as i know i tried fixing what i did wrong.
#31
So let me try and understand summat here.
Have you entered one of these codes into your own phone too and it's in the same state as the op's as well?
#32
yes..this happened to my phone aswell...i came back on HUKD to edit my post as soon as i had edited it, he had already replied saying his was the same
#33
So, you searched, found the code, posted it, tried it on your own, broke your own, and then edited the post?
BTW, what are the codes that are in your 1st post for? What do they do?
#34
With more checking i found out that code was to unlock older samsung mobiles...it was a custom reset for the new ones which would change your imei to 15 0's...

edit: oh them...they are to disable the network lock...that way you can temporarily unlock the samsung phone
#35
I think you should not have posted til you'd done some more research, and i don't mean testing it on your own handset. I am sure you can't be the only one this has happened to.

Very sad story that we now have 2 broken phones now and not much chance of a fix.

Please don't post stuff like this unless you are sure. Glad i didn't try it on my d600, mind you, it's already unlocked
#36
yep sad story but maybe the op can claim warranty?
#37
I dunno, i hope so, would be nice if either or both of them could get it sorted.
Perhaps mods can watch threads like this and remove them til they've been tested/checked? Just a thought.
#38
jaguark i no ur intention was to help. lets jus hope som1 has a solution to this, coz i reli dnt no what to do! should i call samsung first or littlewoods?
i cant believe a code has made me loose my fone...
#39
hope you get it sorted mate.
#40
i am gonna try to get mine sorted tommorow or sunday (whichever day i get to see that guy) and i will tell you if he can fix it....

If mine doesnt get fixed i am most likely to ring littlewoods telling them that the mobile was opened late as it was a gift...when checked to see if working it said no service...or something on them lines...

Plz give me till sunday and i'll see what i can do...again i am sorry for my stupidity.
