If you can't afford to buy contract don't go there. I'm looking to buy one, but knowing you can call anytime, with no limit, means you may end up paying more for going over your budget. Personally if you can't manage the payments why buy it.

But back to topic, I think if you don't pay for it, as you have to be 18, and its withdrawn from a back account you can go overdraft, so it won't be the phone company after you, it'll be the bank.

Could be very damaging to his credit rating, and yes it is likely that the phone will be blocked.

I'm not 100% sure what will happen, But they'll want/get their money either way.

I'd imagine the phone would be blocked though.

my sister works for orange and she says they blacklist the phone and it is blocked and unusable....

so i imagine all companies do the same

Dont know how he even got this phone his credit rating must be realy bad as hes allway get things from catalogs and things and selling them off.
I just couldnt remember the phone was blocked or not as the phone belongs to contract holder not the phone company

This seems to imply that he buys alot of things on credit, which require monthly payments just as credit cards do and sells it for cash.

His phone will be cut off within weeks of not paying his 1st bill.

And while he is severely damaging his own credit rating which might well follow him unless he cuts everything off banks accounts etc.

Also he could well be putting his address as marked as known for bad credit which IMO is irresponsible to anyone he lives with or may live there and to himself, he needs to learn to be responsible with credit.

It seems to me noone has checked he has a viable income and his credit rating is inaccurate, which will soon change once he starts avoiding his bills.
