Unwanted football tickets

Can anybody recommend what I can do with two tickets to the Europa League final in Dublin in May?

I can no longer go, and understand that it is actually illegal to sell football tickets in the UK which rules out Ebay etc. However, I had a quick look on google and came across Seat Wave (is this a legitimate site?)

I don't want to be out of pocket to the tune of approx £130!

So can anybody recommend what I can do to recoup my money?

Thanks in advance

You could probably sell them to someone you know? Nobody is ever going to know are they and selling tickets at face value to your cousin could hardly be classed as illegal surely. I'd probably try and find a friend or relative who may be interested.

Illegal to sell football tickets but not concert tickets? Craziness.

It's cos football fans can't be trusted not to get tickets in the opposition end and start a fight. Less likely to happen at a cliff Richard concert

I know!

I mean I can understand the logic of trying to address the issue of touts etc, however there has to be way for fans who are unable to attend to recoup their money and prevent empty seats as well

Gumtree?

Is it trustworthy though?

I know I wouldn't buy anything from it, and I'm not sure if I'd trust the purchaser
