Oh that's terrible, I know just how you feel. I lost mine last May, he never came home. I've got two new kittens now and one went missing for over 12 hours on Saturday, he sauntered in bold as you like at 11.15pm (yes pm!). I was so relieved. Try posters, calling vets, facebook, newspapers, shelters and these people [URL="http://www.siameserescue.org.uk/contact.htm"] Good luck I hope he comes home safely xxx

The problem is he was booked in this week to be neutered and microchipped (maybe thats why hes run!!!!) So he might be off chasing other cats but he doesn't go out very often and doesn't venture far from the garden so I'm worried he's lost. Our other female stray cat is missing him terribly and really depressed, its really sad to see.
I've just made up a poster to put up in the vets etc.

Facebook - for lost cats, this makes me feel old, does it work?. We have had cats wander off for a few days at a time, when they get hungry they come back. Just keep them in for a week or 2 if you can so they settle in again.

Aww, poor thing. I've heard that cats have ended up hiding in sheds or garages or people take the cat in thinking it's a stray. Might be worth asking neighbours and giving posters out everywhere.

Yeah its worth a try, word of mouth is a great way of finding lost animals. Fingers crossed about him coming back when hes hungry, he loves his food! We have a cat flap so he can get in anytime.

Just tried but they dont have my location there. I'm from Wales and they only have Swansea or Cardiff. Thanks though that was a good idea.

Yea, a "Missing, Where's My Cat Gone" page which by word of mouth the local school kids all got to look at, (and of course all our friends). I had loads of people hunting for him and knocking on the door asking if he'd come home, even the postman and milkman. I asked dog walkers, golfers, builders anyone I could think of, we had sightings and I went out day and night but no cat, sadly, but hey my son said perhaps he's gone on his hols mum and the vision of him with a sombrero and suitcase did cheer me up a bit.

Just being a realist Im afraid. Ive had loads of cats, none of which left naturally.

Few stolen, Few killed. You'd be surprised how far people will go to keep them hidden from you.

I hope your cat turns up, but Siamese cats are quite desirable and sell fairly easily.

hope he returns soon. i had a pure siamese who gave birth to 5 fluffy beautiful cats many years ago, lovely intelligent (and chatty lol) cats.

Hope you get him back safely. Such a worry as our pets are part of the family to us. Good luck:thumbsup:

Thanks for all your help guys, I'm going to put some notes through all the neighbours doors asking if they can check their garages, sheds etc. Hopefully he's been locked in there.

Oh bless him, I really hope you find him soon.

I just opened up to the last post on your thread - hoping that you'd found him now.

Best wishes and good luck for his safe return XxX

I cant believe it I've found him!!!!!!!!
Somebody who lives a few streets away just rang to say that they saw him Sunday and yesterday. I raced around to the house and started calling him, I couldn't believe it when I heard him crying. He was around the side of their house but couldn't get through as the gate was shut. I knocked on the door and the couple came out and unlocked it and there he was! Screaming and very timid. Just got him home and fed him, soooo glad hes back. Our other cat is really pleased to see him too.
Just rung the vets and got him booked in 4 his little chop and microchip but they cant do it til March 2nd. Going to make sure he doesn't get out til then!
Thanks very much for ally your kind words, just wanted to let you all know the good news.
Thanks again.

So pleased for you. When I saw your post i was worried for you with him being a siamese cat, then cap napping was a real possibility . I decided to keep my thoughts to myself as they would not have offered you anything positive. So glad for you that he is home again.
