As title, not happy with MS at all this morning.
Stick has a mind of it's own, but i have to send mine back 1st, as my expense and then wait for them to send me a replacement?
What is that all about?
It's less than 12 months old
Sent them a snotty email but not happy

you dont need to send it back they will send the new one out.

then if they call just say u sent it back.

they will most likely put it down to being lost in the post.

ive had to do this a few times and ive never had any problems at all.

Well they said, they will only send me one back, on receipt of receiving mine in the post.
Can you get me one then Stejosh lol? I work near Horwich could pick it up from you for a small fee :)
As for taking it back to store, not to sure legally on this, but thought they always dismiss you and say send it back to MS

have you said you will send it them? if its all done and they think you are sending it give it a week...

You will get an email saying your order has been placed and its been sent out.

give it time :p

They said that to me so I agrued the case that it was my only controller and therefore if I sent it back to you I would be losing out on my Live subscription so its costing me even more money. I said once I received mine i'd post them the faulty one. I didn't and they never got in touch. Like SteJosh said I could have easily been lost in the post or gone to another department, imagine how many copntrollers they'd have hanging about

I see, must admit, i haven't :-(
I said no, not sending it back, will buy a new one.
I have then sent them a snotty email saying their CS is poor and that i am not happy
So, might give it a few days, say, i've had enough, i'll play ball and then do as you suggest :)

Id suggest you call them back saying you want it replaced. do everything they say then wait for the email. Unless theyve changed it all in the past month you will get an email in a week and it will be with you within 2 weeks.

They are pretty good at replcing stuff. some people take advantage tho. ive got a friend on XBL who said his wireless mic was faulty and that he only had it a month. they sent him one out... he never even had a wireless mic:|

Just rang back, they're having none of it
Send it back, advise is to send recorded/registered and see what happens

Edit: Well they explained, folks are saying stuff is faulty and it isn't, witness your mate and they are started to change their policy, typical when i need help lol :)

people who had there xboxs banned jut put three red lights on it themselves and sent them to get replaced by unbanned systems!

You should have taken it back to the shop and they would have given you a controller there and then, but never mind if you want to be a pain in the proverbial.
