i was given an iphone for an upgrade after such a haggle... recieved few days ago only to find out it is 3g instead of 3g s , i called them up. They were saying tht customer with 3gs has been complaining as some features are not compatible and they hv been withdrawn... IS IT TRUE?

can anyone confirm this?

I was offered a 3G iphone last month on three.

They dont do it unless you're a "special customer" so they say.

They offered me the phone with 750mins 1150 texts, unlimited internet for £20 a month on a 24 month contract.

I said, the only way I''ll stay is if you give me a iphone 3GS. Poor guys really did try but they confirmed that three as a network dont offer it. Even the iphone is something they dont offer but are doing it to keep customers as people are leaving just for that phone.

No point sending it back in hope for a 3GS, they just wont have it mate.

I'm over to orange and a lot happier - started getting reception problems with those guys.

3 are getting grey imports (last I heard), they may only be able to get 3g.

Did you ask for a 3GS or just an iPhone ?

Sounds somewhat promising, when i was mucking around with settings trying to get it to work if they were wrong it just wouldn't send at all. I've left my phone at work but when i retrieve it I'll double check the settings...

Works for me, I have seen some mention of reducing the MMS Max message size as apparantly it can be too large for T-Mobile
