Hi, Contracts not up for 3 months yet but believe i can get an upgrade with Orange this week now.

Always been with O2 in the past and had a few good deals from them.

Do Orange offer any discounts when you upgrade with them early if you say your probably gonna cancel? Anyone had any deals from them when upgrading early?

£20 off what per month.. so in my example you would have got:

A free galaxy samsung S worth £400. 400 mins, unlimited txts and 500 mb internet for £5 per month?

OBVIOUSLY NOT! I think you need to be more specific what you got £20 off.

the other was £40 a month, upgrade deal was £20 a month.

Yes that is fine if you dont want a new phone. But maybe in your original post you should have found out whether the OP wanted a new phone out of the deal or not.

Been with Orange for a few years now. This last upgrade was a NIGHTMARE. Managed to get 400mins, 600 texs, unlimited landline, a dongle with 500mg on free and free hombroadband. The handset has free internet but isnt a good handset. It the Nokia touch screen with the ovi maps on. Pay £20 for that on 18month contract.

It was a nighmare to set us as each department eg phone, dongle, and home broadband is different! Apart from that im happy with what I got!

I am looking for a new phone! Hoping to get the Nokia N8.

Just wondering if people get offered better deals other than the ones that are on the Orange website.
Looking for info from people that have upgraded 3 months early and NOT at the end of their contract!

If you phone Orange Direct you get a much better deal than whats on the website or in the Orange Stores. I have in the past upgraded 3 months early with Orange, and staying with them. I find the whole process a pain in the backside really. I will say though if you want a decent handset and are an existing Orange customer then in my experience you have NO chance. Unless you pay £30+ a month for the contract.

To be fair, it's not so much loyalty more spending.
See i am on a £30/month tariff, discounted down to £15. Since i never overspend, my loyalty is worth they said, £5/month i think it was. When the contract expires come December, i am looking at minimum £25/month and that might not even include a handset lol!
Gent on phone said, they rate costs on previous 3 bills so it seems try and rack up your 3 bills before you attempt contact for upgrade......

rude? you can't seem to read and assume I'm from the 'north'? stereotypical!

stop been so sad and move on, I was helping the OP out but you couldn't help yourself but comment, just move on.

I think you confused him more then help him.

And i think you will find that i was referring to your contract deal from being up north (and you called me stereotypical)

I am moving on, maybe you need to sort your attitude out. Good luck
