I am due an upgrade next week and have been offered some money from the shop for my old phone, but looking around I can get more if I sell myself. What i wanted to ask was has anybody used people like Mazuma and Envirophone before and are they any good as they seem to give better prices.

Thanx

I used Mazuma and they were great, had a cheque in a couple of days.

Usually use Mazuma - tend to be very quick and reliable.

Don't use O2's scheme for buying old phones. Awful customer service, delays, mess-ups with payments. The once I decided to use them because they were giving a good price and regretted it after taking about 3 weeks to resolve.

I have used Mazuma about 3 times now and am very pleased with them. I think as long as your phone is as described, you will have no problems.

I've found that metrorecycles tend to offer a few more quid that Mazuma.

i have never used Ebay dont they charge fees so dont think it would be worth it

how does gumtree work as ive only ever sold on here

gumtree is very straightforward, you advertise locally and offer collection only, don't send the phone anywhere and dont' accept paypal.
it's a free ad and you'll sell it fairly quickly

I use mazuma. They generally offer maybe a fiver less but their service is second to none.
Ill give you an idea how good,
Signed up on tues afternoon, pack was with me wed morning. Sent it back same day recorded delivery and had money cleared in my account by thursday lunchtime.
Have used them 5 or 6 times and has been a 48hr turnaround each time. They have also always paid the agreed amount for the phone.

Mazuma are offering between £13 and £18 less than the other 2 sites
