Hey all, Im in seek of urgent help.

A college gave me a disk of photos to burn a few copies of for friends so i test the disk at work it was working and got home disk is now blank, How can i retrieve files i cannot take no for an answer

The disc must not have been closed ,this means it will probably only work on the PC it was created on although they sometimes can be seen on others,

ok but the disk is showing up blank and it was working perfectly on the work pc (was not created on work pc)

What disc is it DVD.CD,DVD ram ?

Are you sure it was on a disk? and not a disc? :whistling:

prob just needs closed tbh,
work pc can prob read unclosed disks and what your trying to read it on cant. :thumbsup:

I've retrieved lost pics from a memory card before using a programme called 'Final Recovery'. Worked brilliantly. I have a copy but not on the computer I'm on now. PM me if you need help and I can see what I can find for you on Monday.

Most cd burning programs give an option to burn disk and you select close disk or finalise in the options, so it will basically just close the disk for you leaving the files on it intact. :thumbsup:

It depends on the software that was used to write the disc,The safest bet is to just copy the contents to your laptop then burn to another disc,
