hi im on my partners laptop, ive done something to my laptop and now i cant do anything on it, when i switch it on the screen is blue and says WARNING youre in danger your computer is infected with spyware, al you do with your computer is stored forever in your hard disk. when you visit sites, send emails... all your actions are logged and it is impossible to remove them with standard tools. your data is still available for forensics and in some cases for your boss your friends your wife your children. every site you or somebody or even something like spyware opened in your browsers with all the images and the downloads and maybe later removed movies or mp3 songs are still there and could break your life, SECURE YOURSELF RIGHT NOW REMOVE ALL SPYWARE FROM YOUR PC

this is what it says on the screen. then a little box keeps commin up saying appications cannot be executed. the file rapportservice.exe is infected please activate your antivirus.

can anyone please help, ive no idea what ive done or how to fix it,
i will be so grateful.

lol...........Sorry but that's funny.
Don't worry you will be sorted out in no time & someone will tell you to boot to safe mode & scan etc.
I on the other hand just prefer to do a full re-install of windows.

it is a bit strange, ive tried to restore it but when i click on anything its not really doing aything. god knows what ive done for this to happen. im not to bothered if i lose all my stuff as its only pictures and nothing important as ive got them all on sd cards. but if it can be saved then thats good.

Morning,

OK restart the pc in safe mode - once in your profile at the run comman type

"msconfig" press enter

once the box opens click on the tab starup (i think)

tell us what you have in that list and we can take it from there :)

when i switch it on the screen is like how i said in op and it keeps coming up with a box on screen that says system tool and starts scaning and saying theres 38 infections. when i press on this it then comes up with a screen for me to buy some kind of protection i think.

can you go online in safe mode with networking? or you can download it on a friends PC and put it on a memory stick. Just google combofix. it really does work :)

i thought i was going to have to buy a new laptop lol ive had a similar virus before but it let me restore my laptop but this time i couldnt do anything. im glad it worked otherwise i would of been stuck using my partners big 15 or 17" laptop, i prefer my 13" one.

I hate the way programs like Power DVD, Acrobat, Java, Googletoolbar etc. feel they have any right to startup by default. Then people wonder why their machines are so slow.

Antivirus is the only thing I will allow to start when I boot my machine :)

have said it many times, comboxfix is awesome - most people say run this or that, but most of them do jack ****

I have fixed family and friends computer (about 15 in total) using combofix and it never fails.
