not sure I exactly follow but what are you using to burn ImgBurn ?

and where is the ISO stored

i dont think that will affect the burn if the IMGfile of 7.2GB is already on the pc? You didnt really explain yourself very well

what is the thing your trying to burn is it a 360 game if it is you need to set the layer break to the right setting if thats what your doing go to tool setting and then write for layer break options check user specified and add this value to the box 1913760.

If its free working space your worried about it wont use all that space it buffers the info a bit at a time so if the image is on your machine it should be fine and burn the lot.

other programs running can cause problems but only if you havn't got much memory it'll tell you in the log screen how much memory is availiable - as said I don't think the free disk space will cause you much of an issue.

edit - whats 6.2 something? gig?

So long as there memory and some disk space it will use the paging file.

Do not enter user specified for layerbreak Leave it set at Calculate Optimal and burn from .DVD file which when making your own backup from original and xbc with sammy drive etc will have the correct Layerbreak which ImgBurn will read and set.

The only time you need to use (user specified is when you have no .dvd file from a dodgy download)

Other programs can interfere with ImgBurns verify process like any dvd dvd43 .. SPTD secure Duplex can slow down Pioneer drives (SPTD comes from installing Daemon tools and any other program that uses this layer)

As long as you are not using build mode or read mode to store iso on C: There should not have been a problem

Thanks guys it worked fine, and I did the user specified thing as it was recommended on a tutorial.
The actual image was on a different drive with 80gb free.
Repped you all sorry I took to long to reply even though this was stated urgent couldn't access the pc thanks again repping you all!

That tutorial is way out of date

Does it make it worse if I did? What happens?
I'll remember it for next time.

What happens is you will now maybe go to burn a dual layer movie with the layerbreak set from your 360 project or maybe try to backup a DL wii game and the disc you burn will not work.

Stick it back on Calculate Optimal you can always tick the other if you must and do not have the .dvd or mds file to burn with

That was also stated in the tutorial and i'll change it to that once I do burn a movie etc.
