Uruguay V Argentina (Spoilers)

So, who's watching Diego in his last match in charge of the Argentinian National team?

I'm convinced, even if they win, which I doubt they will that Maradonna will get the boot (or honourably walk away).

Never seen such a team of fantastic players look such an utter shambles.

And poor old Messi looks like he doesn't know what / where he's meant to be on the pitch

I mean - Gazza was the nearest to Maradonna we've had in recent years. Talented footballer, crazy, likes his excess - but would you ever put Gazza in charge of the English national team? Can you imagine the mess?

I reckon it will turn into a booting free for all pretty soon. Its just waiting for that first over the top tackle to fly in before it all kicks off.

Argentina aint what they used to be, teams like Spain and Portugal who only every used make it the 2nd round or so are taking there place in the elite teams.

Veron still plays for them? lol
[mod]#32
Hmmm

Hoping that the 2nd half is somewhat more entertaining

They are...........or would be if Maradonna knew what he was doing. Unfortunately he leaves most of his best players out the squad and hopes that Messi can do it all on his own. lol

Cheers for the 'heads up' on this game!

suppose your right, I don't watch too much international football, but don't teams like Brazil and Argentina usually send out alot of 2nd tier player to qualify and stuff? I used to remember sometimes they didnt bother calling Rolando and a few others a few years back

like I said I dont follow int football too much, if what I said was wrong.

They tend to play a lot of their 2nd tier in friendlies depending which continent they are playing on as they are so far spread, but usually go for the big guns in qualifying. :)

I think Maradonna doesn't pick anyone who doesn't think he's the greatest little fat man to ever play footy though
