I am expecting a call from the US today but the person has asked me to get them the dialing codes as they don't have access to the internet to look them up

Is it correct that our dialling code is +44 so therefore they would call 44 then my local area code (01383 xxxxxx)? or would it be 44 1383 xxxxxx?

Any help is much appreciated
