Hi All

If i have a WD My Book NTFS formatted external Hdd with 1000+ photos on it. Will i be able to copy them off it onto a macbook pro.

Then reformat it for mac use.

Then put the photos back as i know that macs can only read ntfs hdds but not write to them.

Thanks

Yup, that's right, also there is apparently an "easy" way of making Mac OS 10.6 able to write to NTFS partitions.

Yes, by default you will only be able to read but NOT write files from/to the drive.
