If you use any useful FireFox extensions, please post in here to let us know about them. Links would be very helpful as well.
A friend told me about this last week, I have installed it on my computers and I quite like it. It's called FlashBlock, and it is an add-on for Firefox which stops all the annoying flash ads from playing automatically when you go to a web page. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/433
Download it here...
The only drawback is that it stops some from playing, e.g. if you are looking at youtube or something, but you just have to click on a "play" button to view the vid.
Flashblock is an extension for the Mozilla, Firefox, and Netscape browsers that takes a pessimistic approach to dealing with Macromedia Flash content on a webpage and blocks ALL Flash content from loading. It then leaves placeholders on the webpage that allow you to click to download and then view the Flash content.
