Using mobile abroad

Hi all,
Just got a free pay as you go sim from Vodafone so I don't have to pay roaming charges when I'm in Spain working.
The thing I'm not sure about is, if my Mrs rings me from her contract phone will her inclusive minutes cover the call if she calls me? or will she be charged?
Thanks in advance

She will only be calling a UK mobile so no reason why they will not just be classed wthin inclusive minutes entitlement IMO.

Will your PAYG not attract the international element though unless this is dropped with the cancelling of roaming charges by Vodafone?

she will pay for the price of making a call to that country best to check with vodaphone tho

Making a call 38 p
Receiving a call 19 p

ive just been in amsterdam and i was charged 19p a min to receive with vodaphone

its only the 75p roaming charge for every call that connects that has been scrapped

as for her it all depoends on what her contract stipulates but you will be charged either way

Yes she will be able to use her inclusive mins, as far as her provider is concerned she is simply ringing another mobile, they dont know the location of that mobile so will be charged as normal, it would normally be u who is charged, but obviously due to vodas deal that will be free for you.

I know this as i work for a mobile phone company !!!!

Yes it will be free for her to call you as she is calling a UK mobile number (doesn't matter where in the world you actually are it'll be you footing the roaming charges.)

To make sure that its free for you, you will need to enable vodafone passport:

On your pay as you go sim Text PASSPORT to 2345.

More info can be found in the link you've already found.
