Using Tesco Vouchers at Goldsmith.co.uk

Can someone please explain this to me as I really don't get it! I want to order a watch from Goldsmith.co.uk but to do so apparently I have to mail my vouchers to them first. However, I was hoping to get the quidco too at 16%. The part I don't get is how it can be online if what I actually have to do is mail the vouchers with a note of what I want to order. The lady at Goldsmith said I could then order online but I said how would I check-out if I'd already mailed the vouchers - she said they would do it over the phone for me but I said surely in that case it's not online but she said no it would still be online as they would "sort it out for me"!!!!????

I'm pretty sure you can't order online using Tesco vouchers as I tried to do the same thing last year with quidco. It even states in the FAQ on their website unless things have changed now.

Q: Can I use Tesco vouchers online?

A:Tesco vouchers can be used in our stores only, excluding outlet stores & airports.

Please see below the terms and conditions.

* The total cost of your spend with Goldsmiths must come to over 200
* More than one item at time can be purchase in one transaction
* Deals Tokens can only be used for full/retail price items in their High Street stores and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
* Deal Token(s) can be used as full or part payment. You can use more than one Deal Token, but no change will be given if the value of Tokens exceeds the total value to be spent.
* Deal Token(s) can be topped up with cash.
* Purchases using Tesco vouchers can only be redeemed by the card holder (whose name is printed on the tokens) i.e. they may not be given as gifts or combined with someone else’s Tokens on a single purchase.
* ***Any items on our website currently in the sale are exclusive prices to the website only***

Where did you get that information from? Have you tried giving them a ring? Even if it is true it's a lot of hassle especially since you will get no quidco if someone else orders it for you as you have previously stated and you also run the risk of losing the vouchers through the post.

I got it from the Goldsmith Website, will try to find the link - think it was as I looked at the basket. But yes, I will revert to just buying it in the shop but I do get annoyed by things that mislead!

Hi , I am bumping this! Does anyone know whether it is possible to use the Tesco / Goldsmiths vouchers and Quidco? 16% on Quidco is just too good to miss out on!
