my brother asked me how the above is done and ot be honest ive never used headed paper via word

he has to write a letter on headed paper, but if he puts headed paper in the printer and then prints the letter it will start from the top of the paper rather then further down below the letterhead

is this something that can be done via word or any other software

thanks for any help, rep will be left

You can adjust the print area by moving the bars, alternatively (and probably easier) go into file> page setup and adjust the margins that way if you leave, say 5-8cm as the top margin that should be enough
Cheers m8 will leave u rep
Have you tried the "carriage return" key?
