I've just been getting Windows 7 for my PC. But now when I download things from Utorrent it says that the file cannot be played. Tried it in:
Windows Media Player
Divx Player
Quicktime

Anyone have any ideas. Thanks

wasnt being sarcastic m8-it was a genuine question-its years since I used torrents,just didnt see how client software would affect playback.

I set uTorrent up with my Win7 earlier on today, all looking well so far :)

Have you tried vlc player, i upgraded to 7 and didn't have any problems

I've been using win 7 and utorrent for about 6 months with no problems.
Get ver 2.0 of utorrent.

I've uninstalled Utorrent and I'm now trying Vuze, hopefully it will work.

I only mentioned Windows 7 as it was working fine before I got it.

its not utorrent thats stopping things being played. Its cos you havent got the codecs lol

you'll have the same problem with Vuze!

also the perian for windows codec pack....that lot will play anything

Yes. Download VLC Media player. It'll play pretty much ANY video file you throw at it...
