Well, more like the new BitTorrent is a near enough copy of uTorrent.....except some features like the search for piratebay, etc.. in the top right corner...

Must be great to be the uTorrent developers, you put all that work into your client......and a few years later, hand it all over to a company which is in bed with the RIAA and MPAA! :giggle:

uTorrent.com will remain the same for now, but will soon merge with BitTorrent.com...

Oh, and just so you know, so far, their is no proof what so ever that 1.7 is sending data anywhere, WireShark has even done their own testing, and found nothing....

But, I'm sure this wont make many people trust 1.7 any more than they currently do... :giggle:

never used this torrents stuff, just use old fashioned flash.

gets me what i want, when i want, as fast as my connection will go.

you can tell im getting older though

in my younger days i wouldnt buy ps2 games, i have over 500 'backups' with my modified ps2. i havent touched it in 18 months and have an xbox360

i was going to mod that but remembered that i mererly collected ps2 games, i never had time to play them as i spent all my time downloading and hunting for games. i didnt mod my xbox360 despite buying the stuff required to do it as it would spoil the enjoyment for me by having far too many games to actually play any to any degree. i have 20 odd xbox360 games and still dont have enough time to play them, infact i have 4 games i have never played despite buying them...

the only thing i dl now is music and films as i cant get a baby sitter for the mrs and me so we would never actually go and see a film at the cinema anyway, and it it is a great film i will buy it on dvd or hddvd anyway.

Suppose you not (like myself) interested in the software deals this site has? :giggle:

The new version (µTorrent Version 1.7.1) contains a feature that sends your IP and upload/download information to the MPAA and the RIAA.

What b**t*rds!

Use at you're peril!

1.7.2 is apparantly a bit more safe...
