To be honest there isn't a lot in Uttoxeter. I assume you are going for the races?

If someone doesn't mind driving you would be better going to Stoke on trent.

I hope they're not going for the races.. They aren't on next week.. lol

Na isn't for the races.

I live not far away.. I just wanna go out for a drink in Uttoxeter and stay over in a B&B instead if i can.. No late night license pubs or bars then?

Why would you chose Uttoxeter of all places? Would be much better going to Stafford or (god forbid) Stoke if you want a night out. There really isn't much of a nightlife in Uttoxter iirc, just a hotel on the main road through the town.

My parents used to stay there a lot(though they dont drink) but there is a few Wetherspoons/Smith And Jones places nearby.

As for B+B we used to go to somewhere called Old Royd a lot(across the road from big tescos and KFC etc) but we stopped going as the last time we went they crammed us into the top floor room when my parents are 60 and with arthritis and they also didnt have good fire exits it wasnt that great, room was lovely, but finally my dad got swine flu whilst staying so its a place to avoid.

There is also a Travelodge there but its very noisy due to being on a busy road where loads of lorries pass and many tourists for Alton Towers so another place to avoid.

There is a Holiday Inn(or Premier Inn cant remember) which has a good rep though is expensive.

lol oops - thats the only reason I have ever been to uttoxeter hence the question!

Agree with Midlands comics - Uttoxeter is not the place to go! So many better places locally for a night out.

We stayed in Uttoxeter once and certainly wouldn't rush back. Stayed at a very odd B&B (They unpacked our bags and toiletries when we went out and they had a Diana shrine in the breakfast room!) And the town centre was, well, crap. One plus point though, we did see a vicar get thrown out of a pub for being mortal drunk!

DO NOT stay in Uttoxeter lol...nothing to do! Clubs for the lads- not there! Your not far from Stoke so you could get a train in.NOTE i say Stoke AND NOT Hanley (city centre).Hanley for a riot and a club Stoke for very busy pub scene or get a taxi to Burslem....absolutely heaving especially on match days!

I live about 20mins away. Seriously, there's nothing there and it's not that nice.

Go to Derby, Nottingham etc... wherever is closest...
