V+ box

I was just wondering if people bought the V+ boxes as i have seen a few sky+ boxes for sale but i have a V+ which i do not need and would like to sell it as i know have sky. could anyone tell me if people buy these?

i think virgin ask for these back as they supposedly rent then to you ratherthan sell them.

oh well thought i would ask they have already sent me a cheque for my last bill but have still not come for the box

ye right enough i never thought of that and they have ripped us off for months hense the reason that we went with sky so i think i might go ahead and sell it they owe us lol

my mum paid 75 pounds for hers last month .but the man across the road rents his so they must do both .so if you own yours then you should be able to sell it .but how much would you sell it for.

The £150 and £75 that some people pay are INSTALL charges (stated quite plainly on their website and paperwork)
not charges for the box
Virgin never sell the boxes they always belong to virginmedia and anyone selling one could be charged with theft, same as anyone buying one could be charged with recieving stolen property.
Not worth a criminal record for a few quid's profit.

wooo ok just asking think i will just leave it am just glad to get away from them, have been with them for 5 years and because of 1 late payment they kept charging me late fee and signed up for ebilling but never received a password then all of a sudden my bills were going up to about £140 a month on a £60 a month contract and this was without calling mobiles, being out all during the day and not ordering any films go figure am so glad am away from them lol

not what they told me on the phone they said the £150 was a one off payment for the box had nothing in wrting from them to state otherwise
