About £300 the lot I would say assuming the guarantee can be passed on and has a year remaining.

LOL - £450 just for the console! What planet have you been living on the last 6 months? I'd gladly sell my PS3 for £450!

My boyfriend sold his used 60GB PS3 with one game and a HD DVD for £500 just before Christmas (it was on a buy it now, not auction). The average selling price (on ebay) for a 60GB are still quite high too.

Judging by the ebay prices dandoc is right. Had a look on cex but they will give you a lot less for it.
Fleabay is the way to go

It seem that the 60gb is a rare beast. I had heard that they were going to top making this model in the uk!!

It's the 60gb one that's being talked about here however.

Sure, the 40gb plus a few games 2nd hand is about 300, but not the 60gb.

dandoc never said £450 for the console.

Anyone unsure should check the "Completed listings" on ebay.

New 60gb ones were going for £500+ a few weeks ago, the price dropped when Empire Direct and PC world both had stock to around £430

They are now getting upwards of £450, I have one that i'm putting on at the weekend, I expect to get £450 with no problems.

The prices I use are for console only.

Mines going on today then for £450 BIN. Wheres the cheapest for a 40gb one at the mo? Is it still play.com at £275? thanks

Blimey! Just checked and fees alone on the ebay sale/paypal fees would be £43. Thieving gits so really isnt worth it now. £43 is just ridiculous. http://www.ebaycalculator.co.uk/index.php

If yours is 2nd hand, then achieving £450 on a B.I.N sale is unlikely.

I don't know why you keep on bringing up £450 for a 2nd hand console anyway, where did you get this figure from? :? Or are you including games for that price?

Did you set a high reserve? I find it hard to believe no one bidded.
Put it in the "For Sale' forum.

Unless this post was to get PM's?

Indeed - I mean, why would you have a brand new still sealed in box PS3 just lying around the house?:whistling:

No, I think £400 for just the brand new sealed console was not really a high price considering ive seen some used ones go for over £450! no on bidded if you want the link to the auction let me know through pm I wont post it here as I believe ebay links are prohibited???

Anyway I would offer it for sale on this forum but I would only do cash on collection NO posting...but I think I'll wait I've got a hunch they are going to get even more rarer.
