I'm thinking about selling my 60GB and buying a 120gb.

How much could I get for my 60GB?(hdd not console)

Can I just ask, why do people install stuff onto their harddrive, the only difference I see is basically doesn't play from the disc which means no scratches?
#5
quicker loading times and less noise
#6
£40 probli max, 120s can be had for £60-£70

That's wrong, Check when you put in halo it tells you it's not reccommended to do so as it gives you slower loading times etc. And my friends have experienced the same thing.

that's ONLY for halo!

halo was optimized for a disc, not hdd.

Googled it and apparently there's not much difference in the loading times.
I think i'll give it a go anyway, thanks

its just so much less noise when playing a good game ....

and it says the dvd drive which is one less thing to go wrong
#11
Stops the DVD drive burning out as it's not being used all the time.

Plus less noise. Agreed loading times really don't make a lot of difference but the above does.

Yeh I figured those would, Thanks , I bought mine for £48.50 brand new.

does for fallout

The reason why I like to write my games to HDD is as others have said it is a helluva lot quieter than letting the noisyness of the dvd drive annoy you. I usually do it with games I play a lot (especially on live.)
