I've got some of his old stuff, which to be fair, is not in the same league as his current work

Any idea how i could value it for sale or anyone know of any specialised websites you can use to submit something to sell?

Would rather not ask him as not seen him for years and years and he gave me these as he had done so many paintings his house was filling up

Thanks for any help

if they are already selling for £500 - the auction valuers should know or would find the going rates - best place

or why dont you contact him and suggest to have a showing - hire local hall - few bottles of wine - nibbles - do some posters and drop them off at relevant places - might sell a few if you have gift of the gab
i go to a few local ones - got to say its b/s most of them - they are sooo pretentious - just have a laugh and free drink and nibbles:-D

or go ebay them

Thanks for suggestions, website looks good as alos have a stamp have been considering selling but no idea how much it would be worth

I know his new stuff sells for £500 + but, in all honesty, this earlier stuff is not as good as the new work

the inspiration of joe bloggs earlier works have now matured which you can see in his newest collection

but for me - the passion and joie de vivre really comes alive in his earlier pieces

not just in colour content - the painting is actually telling the viewer a story - screaming at him to reply[/COLOR]

do you reckon i could be an art critic:-D
