I have one, any idea if they work with fairy liquid instead of the shampoo?

lol doubt it.

i have one, its no good for stains or such. but it does seem to do an ok job otherwise. cant help think a steamer would be better tho.

We have a vax rapide delux in the darker colours, it is very, very good. If you have minging caprets or ones that have never been washed, then you will need to use it 2/3 times to totally lift the stains but especially in lighter carpets you will see the difference in 1 wash.

Ideally to keep them clean should be done about once a month, been a life saver for us with 3 very messy boys and light carpets.

Don't use washing up liquid as it will invalidate your warrant, could bust the machine and wreck the carpets.

my mother borrowed mine to wash a rug that was fairly new, it couldnt lift a stain from that. the steamer i bought her got it out pretty quickly.

See mine got mud, red wine and blackcurrunt out of a cream carpet, so for the price you can get some very good models:thumbsup:
