Could an o2 customer please text sky to 2020 and give me the promo code please?

Note:

1) Its free
2) One per customer. The code gives 3 months free sky mobile tv for iphone use. If you think you may want the code, don't give it :)

Thanks for taking the time to help a HUKD 'legend' (bitterwallet, Nov 2009)

I will my man, but is it free for PayGo?

Just out of interest, why can't you do it? HAve you already used yours?
#2
do they start charging you after 3 months or do you have to sign up after that?
#3
Who would the contract be with for the Sky deal? I.e. who is liable to cancel after the free period? Is it paid for by the phone or with a 'signup'
#4
Nice find Vibeone. Few questions, where did you find this out, and is there an obligation to continue on, or do you have to phone up?
#5
Only people with iphones can text sky to 2020. Otherwise they text back saying you dont have an iphone etc.

Thanks for the offer - but look below :(:( I can't do it as I'm on vodafone (though I may be able to use my PAYG sim later). No not used mine yet.

They start charging. You can cancel, but you have to ring sky.

It's just a promo code you enteron signup, which is tied to your sky account. Don't believe o2 have anything do to with it besides giving the promo codes.

search for sky mobile tv in the app store. you have to phone up, but no obligation. usually £6 a month.

Thanks MarzBarz :( bang goes that one - unless someone doesn't want mobile tv at all!

so you will be charged £6 after the months if you don't end the contract.

Available to iPhone customers on O2 in the UK only. After your first three months' subscription, you will automatically be charged for Sky Mobile TV at £6 a month unless you notify Sky that you no longer wish to receive the service before the last day of your 3 month free subscription period. Only one promotion code per mobile phone number. Texts to 2020 are free. Offer limited to 150,000 customers or until 2nd February 2010, whichever comes first.

Strange was talking to me old man about this last night on his nokia.

Check out the liverpool schedule on sky.

Yes unless you cancel. I'm debating whether or not go ahead if not you can have the code Vibe.

Say someone gives you the code and you dont cancel with it be charged to that persons sim?
#12
Is there an app for ipod touch?

yes TVCatchup is hardly new, but doesn't (And won't) support free access to sky's premium services

I just want to do the 3 month trial, and unless other channels are added, I'll cancel.

Yes and no.

I'm on a vodafone 12 month sim only deal (quidco means i end up paying some stupidly tiny amount), and I bought the iphone for £440 on o2 PAYG.

So if I can find my PAYG sim tonight, everyones a winner! :)

Was going to say it's likely tied to my number the code, you can do this yourself through your pay and go sim surely?

If not you can attempt through my code.

PAYG worked fine thanks :)

Works pretty well - though in no way worth £6 a month, its ok for free! :)

Cool. I'd keep the thread updated just in case others want to use the same thing. Might help with cancelling etc.
