Vegas shows

So it seems that on Tuesday I may have to entertain myself here in the evening. Have been looking at shows and there are just so many that I don't really know where to start. I don't mind too much what I see as long as it doesn't invove naked women or the Lion King.

Anyone got any suggestions?

Penn and Teller are awesome. Think they're at the Rio. Suppose you have to have a slight interest in magic :|

we're off to Vegas on Wednesday for 2 weeks! Can't wait.

We are going to see Cirque de Soliel's Love which is based on the songs of the Beatles. Its meant to really good, a bit different to what you can see over here and have a bit of a Vegas feel to it. I'd say Lion King would be good but you can see that in London.

Oooh fab, I would have loved to have seen that Cirque de Soliel show but it wasn't on when we went.

I'd go see one of the Cirque shows if I was there.

Yeah they have booths around Vegas called Tix4Tonight, they are heavily discounted but you can't guarantee what will be available on the day.

I saw Penn and Teller in April, really good. Bit of a walk to Rio though! Free bus from a few hotels on the strip. Yeah the booths are all over the strip, usually in Casino entrances, you cant miss them.

Thank you to everyone who has posted. I posted this up and then fell asleep. I'm torn between a cirque show and the blue man group.

The cirque shows I can see are ka and zumanity...anyone seen both by any chance?!

maybe I can swing it for you. I saw blue man group last year in Orlando. Awesome. Just don't buy bog roll while you're there! if you go to see them all will become clear

Shame you can't get to see O. That's the one I'd see, saw the making of it on sky and it looked amazing.

The cirque shows I have seen have all been very good ( Mystere, Love and Zumanity ). Mystere is great if you're not too sure about the 'Cirque' style of show and is the cheapest. Le Reve ( at the Wynn ) is also a good but is just like a Cirque show and is pricier. We didn't enjoy Penn and Teller and thought it was overpriced for what it was - Mac King ( a freeish show - you'll get given a voucher at some point ) at Harrah's was far better. Blue Man Group wwas also good but you do need seats near the front to properly enjoy it.
On another note there are lots of half price ticket booths dotted up and down the strip. The tickets on offer change daily but they usually have a good mix ( but very few of the Cirque shows as the hotels don't like to discount them ). Best to check them daily but you usually get better offers during the week than at the weekend .
Enjoy.

I went to the Bodies exhibition it was fascinating!!! If you like Tigers you can go to the Sahara and see a chap with his tigers and then get up close and personal after the show on stage... I loved it and the tigers were so timid thank god!!!
Have a brill time, I wish I was back there!!!
