As a meat eater, I judge vegetarians.

I made an informed decision years ago only to eat vegetarian animals. If they are what they eat, then I reckon that I must be a vegetarian.

Vegetarians and vegans who do judge others are responsible for more animal deaths than Bernard Matthews, as they put normal people off efforts to combat climate change or any other enviromental issue that smelly sandal-wearing dreadlocked stoners probably use their dole money to buy hemp-based placards to protest.
I did see this the other day which made me laugh.

On another note now you've said that, I'm surprised someone opposed to eating meat doesn't mind cooking it. Cooking it in my eyes is probably no worse than eating it.

I'd assume it must be quite common, my missus is also vegi but cooks meat for me. What difference does it make whether she does or I do?

I can't imagine vegetarian chefs refuse to cook meat either if it's their job :)

I was thinking of steaks mainly, obviously they produce blood upon being cooked. I guess it's to do with your reasons for being vegetarian.

Nope, not a vegan - just understands I think that being veggie is her choice and doesn't wish to impose it on us. She works in a fish and chip shop too.

That's good, everyone should be able to make their own choice. I expect as with everything, you have the odd parents out there who are vegan who have already decided that's what their children will be.

I never ate much meat or fish as a child. By time I was half way through secondary school I pretty much had cut out every by product, you know gelatine in sweets and so on. I'm 37 now, so been over 20 years now vegetarian. I guess at time I felt sad for the animals, I don't really think much about it now. I can't say I particularly like the look of raw meat, I tend to cook him ready made things...I don't mind too much if chicken and I'll just empty it into the pan say for stir fry, I don't have to handle it, it's all raw and it doesn't seem right ...
If I really thought about it all cruelty purposes, well I end up going vegan as it's still cruel just being vegetarian, what goes on in dairy and egg industry.

Yes very true, if you are vegetarian solely on the basis of animal cruelty you should be a vegan.

The red liquid that comes from a decent steak isn't blood, its myoglobin and water.

Why not actual chicken nuggets? as long as they are made from 100% breast.

Most nuggets are made from chopped up / processed chicken which I find revolting. Plus I'm a bit fussy about eating chicken most of the time
